The 14 Fundamentals

Fundamentals are the gods of this world, standing above the mortal realm. They are divided in two groups, The 7 Deadly Sins, and The 7 Heavenly Virtues, representing all mortals' ways in the Familiar Lands. They are all supervised by the overwhelming power of Authority. They live in another dimension, and often fight against incursions from Outsiders, strange beings that manage to pass between realms and end up in the Familiar Lands. Fundamentals can bestow their blessings to those they deem worthy of their virtues or sins, making them Chosen Knights, and giving them great powers. When a fundamental reproduces with a mortal, it creates Demigods.
